Donald "Don" Dean Robbins (1937 - 2013)

Donald Dean Robbins, 75, died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013. Memorial service: 3 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at American Legion Post 516, Fort Worth, with Post Commander Willie Mulkey and Gerald Griffin officiating. Interment was Monday, Feb. 25, in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with Gerald Griffin, chaplain of American Legion Post 516, officiating. Donald Dean Robbins was born Aug. 20, 1937, in Pampa to the late Derward Daniel and Artie Jewel Gandy Robbins. He entered the Navy in March 1957 as an enlisted and retired as lieutenant in June 1977 after 20 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Survivors: Loving wife, Retha of 21 years, of Fort Worth; daughter, Deborah Caldwell of Frisco; sisters, Rose Simpson and Dale, and Ann Nayfa, all of Arlington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
