Arthur E. Hurst, 82, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Fort Worth. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel. Interment: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
<br>Arthur was born Oct. 5, 1930, in Fort Worth to William and Vera Hurst.
<br>He retired from Bell Helicopter after 34 years and 4 months of service.
<br>Arthur was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
<br>Survivors: Children, Michael Hurst and wife, Cindy, of Fort Worth, Vicki Gonzales and husband, David, of Watauga, Bruce Hurst Sr. and wife, Debbi, of Hamilton and Randy Hurst of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Deitra Black and husband, Randy, of Fort Worth and Bruce Hurst Jr. and wife, Alicha, of Arlington; great-grandchildren, Jacinda, Clara and Randy Black Jr.; brother, Don Hurst and wife, Nina, of Fort Worth; sisters, June Demases of Arlington, Ann Howe and husband, Ray, of Whitney, Linda Banard of Pittsburg; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

<br>Pa, I'm going to miss you so much. The kids still can't believe your gone. You were the best Pa a girl could wish for. Thank you for always loving me and my lil family. You will always be missed. <br>Vickie and boys, we are so sorry to hear about Arthur. We have been great friends for many many years. He was one of a kind person who would give you the shirt off his back. He is loved by many people. He will be missed so much, by all. He was a happy go lucky guy. We have spent a lot of good times with him and all of the family. We will always be here for all of you, if you need anything.
