Stanley Anderson (1944 - 2013)

Stanley Gray Anderson, 69, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 4, 2013, at his home in Brownwood.<br> Memorial service: Will be held at a later date under the direction of Netherton Funeral Home and Cremations in Brownwood.<br> Stanley was born in Little Rock, Ark., on Sept. 29, 1944, to James L. Anderson and Mildred Gray Anderson and grew up in Chico. He retired from the city of Arlington in 2005. He was an avid motorcycle rider with a tremendous love for the great outdoors.<br> He was preceded in death by his father, James Anderson; and a sister, Shirley Anderson Sanders. <br>Survivors: He leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, May Anderson; children, Cheryl Evans of Fort Worth, Cyndi Haapapuro of Eustis, Fla., Marty Anderson of Burleson and Steven Anderson of North Port, Fla.; his wonderful and loving grandchildren, Davin, Brittani, Clay, Mitchell, Shannon, Gray, Riley and Aydan; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Peyton, Conner and Carson; mother, Mildred Anderson of Chico; and siblings, Andy Anderson of Jacksboro, Kenneth Anderson of Mesquite, Jane Hollingsworth of Carrollton, Stuart Anderson of Commerce and Wayne Anderson of Arlington.
